Is the price different if I book 3 course days, but at the end decide to book more days?

Yes. If, for example, 3 days are booked initially and then further days are booked, the extension price applies,  see current price list.

In terms of time, is it possible for children and parents to attend ski courses?

Yes, the allocation timetable is organised so that the adults begin 15 minutes later. Children can be left off from 9.30 am; the allocation for adults begins at 9.45 am.

How are skiers allocated to groups?

Allocation takes place on site. Here you will find large information signs. You can allocate yourself. The ski instructors then make the precise allocation. Additional information is also given through the public address system at the collection point.

Is the money refunded, if the children do not like it?

In general, money is only refunded upon presentation of a doctor's certificate (illness, injury). If you are unsure, book one day in the first instance, in order to see if you enjoy it. You can subsequently make a one-off booking without extra charge.

If I don't like a course, can I change to another course? For example: from a snowboard to a ski course?

This is possible as a matter of course, provided that the suitable course is on offer.  Please let our office know, so that we can transfer the booking!

Can I join a course during the week?

In general grouping is done on Sunday and Monday. However, it is also possible for advanced skiers to join an existing group during the week.

Is it possible to have lessons with a particular instructor?

Basically, this is possible. However, we request you to make your request for a certain instructor as early as possible by telephone or by e-mail.  Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we can fulfil your wish!

How early should we book a private ski instructor?

The earlier, the better! The courses can be booked or reserved by telephone, by e-mail or directly in the Online Shop. 

Is it possible to book child-care over the lunch hour for individual days?

Yes, but please book lunch care one day ahead in the ski school office, but at the latest on the same day before course start.

From what age should children attend a ski course?

From three years. We offer half-day courses for three-year olds(Burmi Club). For all other children we offer a whole-day course. For snowboard courses we recommend a minimum age of 8 years.

Are half day courses offered for adults too?

Our group courses for adults are full-day courses from 10 am to 3 pm.

In exceptional cases you can also book only the half day: 10 am - noon.

Do any of your instructors speak Dutch?

We have very many Dutch ski instructors. We cannot guarantee, however, that your child will also be allocated to such an instructor.

Do the course days have to be booked on consecutive days?

The days must be taken consecutively. However, there are, of course situations, in which we make an exception. Discuss this with your ski instructor.

Is the Walserbus free of charge?

Yes, if you show your guest card (Allgäu-Walser-Card).

How can I pay the course fee?

On site you can pay cash or by card (except Amex). You can pay online with iDeal, direct debit, Visa or Mastercard.

Is the ski pass included in the ski course?

Lift tickets and ski passes have to be purchased separately at the cable cars. Prices are available at the following link: www.ok-bergbahnen.com/tickets-winter/.

You can purchase a ski pass at the Jedermannlift close to the ski school. We recommend that you purchase the ski pass on the previous day.

Do beginners need a ski pass too?

Child beginners do not need a ski pass. Adultbeginners and snowboard beginners need a ski pass from the very first day. The instructor changes to the lift in the afternoon.

Can our children attend the same group?

Grouping of children is mainly based on the skiing skills and the age of children. If your children are at the same level, they may join the same group.

Do we have to book the complete (5) 6 day course or is it is also possible to book fewer days?

Our programme for group courses builds up throughout a week with ski race and a special programme during the weekend. It therefore makes sense to participate in the course for the entire (5) 6 days. It is however also possible to participate fewer days.
